The Brotherhood

Sigma Nu coat of arms

Twenty years from now, you are not going to remember your 9:00 am chemistry class or those gourmet dinners at Ibby's. What you will remember are the bonds of friendship that you created and the great times you had at Wash U.

The Gamma Omicron Chapter of Sigma Nu has conveyed a legacy of excellence rooted in unbreakable bonds of brotherhood. Not only are we all best friends during our time at Wash U, but our ties extend and strengthen beyond graduation.

Aside from being very acive in the Wash U social scene, the brothers of Sigma Nu are WUSAs, RAs, student leaders, Varsity Athletes, Executives of major student run businesses, and first-class grill masters and chefs.

In addition to having a significantly higher average GPA than the campus average, our academic success is also recognized nationally as we have won the award for having the highest GPA of any Sigma Nu chapter in the nation. Sigma Nu’s fraternal environment instills a mentality that fosters success. From Wall Street’s elite to prominent doctors, Hollywood agents and entrepreneurs, our alumni network is vast and powerful.

Sigma Nu is not for everyone. However, for those of you who want to join a fraternity which will allow you to reach your full college potential academically and socially, and get the most of your last 4 years before 9-5 workdays, we invite you to use the rush process and meet us day to day to expose yourself to this strong brotherhood, come hang out, and experience the facets of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
